Kicheche Camps: Bush Camp - Six spacious, fully insect-proof custom designed tents, equipped with twin or double beds, linen, bedside tables, luggage racks and rugs. Bathrooms are en-suite and are equipped with a dresser, flushing toilet and a traditional safari bucket shower with a view. There are comfortable chairs on each verandah overlooking the plains. One tent can be converted into a triple on request. There is a spacious well furnished lounge and dining tent, although we prefer to each alfresco if weather permits. Kicheche Bush Camp is located in the Masai Mara within the Olare Orok Conservancy (created from Koiyaki Group Ranch lands) bordering the Reserve. The Olare Orok Conservancy, through it's strict limit on bed numbers, offers an incomparable game viewing experience without crowds. The camp is located in a prime wildlife area and game viewing starts right from the camp... Find out more at Whole Travel, http://www.wholetravel.com/supplier/kicheche-camps-bush-camp.

Many of the rooms had famous peoples names from yester-year, we stayed in room 310, once stayed in by Josephine Baker. (Baker (1906 – 1975) was an African American expatriate entertainer and actress. Most noted as a singer, Baker also was a celebrated dancer in her early career. She was given the nicknames the "Bronze Venus" or the "Black Pearl", as well as the "Créole Goddess" in anglophone nations. In France, she has always been known as "La Baker".)
The Apollo Theater in New York City is one of the most famous music halls in the United States, and the most famous club associated almost exclusively with African-American performers. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places,[2] and is the home of Showtime at the Apollo, a nationally syndicated variety show consisting of new talent. The theater is located at 253 W. 125th Street in the New York City borough of Manhattan, specifically in Harlem, one of the United States' most historically significant traditionally black neighborhoods.
