BLUES FOR MISTER CHARLIE -- From June 23 to July 17, New Haarlem Arts Theatre (NHAT), a new professional company formed by City College of New York (CCNY) and its Department of Theatre and Speech, is presenting its debut production, James Baldwin's "Blues for Mister Charlie," directed by Eugene Nesmith, Aristic Director. Performances are at Aaron Davis Hall, W. 135th Street and Convent Avenue. The play is based on the historic case of the murder of Emmett Till, a young black man who was killed in Mississippi in 1955 for supposedly whistling at a white woman.
